Spring Back Colorado

Spring Back Colorado Mattress Recycling is a nonprofit social enterprise, working to achieve a triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Purpose. We are the place for Colorado to fully recycle post-consumer mattresses and box springs. By using our services, you support redemptive employment opportunities for people in our community. Recycling your mattress is easy and simple. You can drop your end-of-life mattress and/or box springs at one of our Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins collection centers, or schedule a pick-up at your home or property. All residential pickups are subject to the fees listed on the scheduling form. On top of these pickup fees, we charge a $30 per piece recycling fee on residential pick-ups.

Rooney Road Recycling Center

The Rooney Road Recycling Center recycles most types of household hazardous chemicals and wastes. Many household chemicals pose a serious health hazard if not properly handled, stored and disposed. Items Recycled Free, by appointment, for Jefferson County residents (and Arvada residents in Adams County) paid for by your local jurisdiction:

  • Motor Oil (Must be in containers ≤ 5 gallons)

PaintCare

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

PaintCare sites accept house paint and primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings (e.g., shellac and varnish) but we do not accept aerosols (spray cans), solvents, and products intended for industrial or non-architectural use. The products we accept are referred to as “PaintCare Products” or “architectural paint” and they must be in containers that are no larger than 5 gallons in size. Paint must be in its original container and the container must have a label and a secured lid. We cannot accept open or leaking cans. Please review the following detailed list to find out what can be accepted, prior to dropping off your paint.
