The goal of zero waste is to eliminate trash or anything that could be considered “waste.” By following the 6 Rs (and more!) – refusing, reducing, rethinking, recycling, repairing, reusing, and rot – we can hopefully eliminate the idea of “waste” altogether.

COMMUNITY COMPOST PROGRAM
Residential and commercial composting
For those wishing to compost all food scraps without dealing with wildlife and brown/green ratios. Our residential and commercial composting services are affordable and convenient. Participants receive free organic compost in May for their garden and houseplants.
EverGREEN REFILL STATION
Reduce your footprint by refilling common household items
At the station, eco-friendly products are purchased in bulk and sold to consumers in their own containers for filling and refilling. We also have other eco-friendly products like dryer balls, laundry strips, and a line of plastic free bars – shampoo bars, conditioner bars, deodorant bars, lotion bars, shave bars, dish soap bars.

I love the Zero Waste Refill Popups and Deliveries. I’ve used them many times. It’s amazing to have this service available in our small mountain community. Even during social distancing, the pop-up shifted to delivery to continue to make the service available. Plastic usage is and will continue to be a huge problem in our world…As such, I think that every consumer has a personal responsibility to try to reduce their plastic usage as much as possible.
I love it and it is very easy to use. I didn’t have to create my own composting system, so I love it! Looking forward to compost for my garden.
Delivery Service allows you to get all of your favorite toiletries, cleaning products, and other goodies conveniently, safely, inexpensively, and in a way the minimizes plastic waste. They are organized and easy to work with. I particularly appreciate their contact-less delivery in these times. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in the Evergreen area!
