CHaRM: Eco-Cycle Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials
CHaRM opened in 2001 and was the first facility of its kind in the nation. It collects unusual materials like electronics and plastic bags for recycling and reuse. CHaRM accepts many items and also maintains a list of hard-to-recycle items in Boulder County on its website. There is a $3 per-visit facility user fee as well as additional fees for some items. Paper-shredding services also available. Please visit www.ecocycle.org/charm for a full list of materials accepted, as well as prices. CHaRM is an outdoor facility. In the event of extreme weather, call us at before you visit to find out if CHaRM is open.

Golden Real Estate has an unlocked dog kennel next to building where you can drop off clean, white, rigid Styrofoam – no plastic peanuts, no food containers, and no tape or stickers on Styrofoam. Styrofoam must be dropped off in bags.
King Soopers (Evergreen)
Accepts plastic bags. The Evergreen Sustainability Alliance has established a compost drop-off location at the King Sooper's in Evergreen as part of our Community Compost Program, which is offered in partnership with EDS Waste Solutions. Drop-off is limited to program members.
