We do not accept paper, glass or plastic. Accepts metal appliances. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit thrift store with a vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. When you shop and donate for new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building supplies with us, the proceeds build homes in our community with local families who have partnered with Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity. CHaRM: Eco-Cycle Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials

CHaRM opened in 2001 and was the first facility of its kind in the nation. It collects unusual materials like electronics and plastic bags for recycling and reuse. CHaRM accepts many items and also maintains a list of hard-to-recycle items in Boulder County on its website. There is a $3 per-visit facility user fee as well as additional fees for some items.  Paper-shredding services also available. In the event of extreme weather, call us at before you visit to find out if  CHaRM is open.

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

PaintCare sites accept house paint and primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings (e.g., shellac and varnish) but we do not accept aerosols (spray cans), solvents, and products intended for industrial or non-architectural use. The products we accept are referred to as “PaintCare Products” or “architectural paint” and they must be in containers that are no larger than 5 gallons in size. Paint must be in its original container and the container must have a label and a secured lid. We cannot accept open or leaking cans. Please review the following detailed list to find out what can be accepted, prior to dropping off your paint.
