About Lindsay Anderson

Lindsay joined the Evergreen Sustainability Alliance in May of 2018. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education and has worked primarily in Title I public schools for over a decade, all the way from Kindergarten through the University level in Chicago and Denver. After spending several years in Denver, she and her husband moved their family to Evergreen after realizing they were spending nearly every weekend playing in the mountains. Lindsay is at her happiest when playing outside with (and without!) her kids and believes connecting to the natural world is the solution to a lot of our modern-day problems. She tries to live sustainably by worm-composting, raising chickens, gardening, and avoiding single-use plastic, among other practices. Lindsay thinks sustainability is multi-faceted and that change occurs when individuals, organizations, schools, corporations, and politicians all work together. She is thrilled to be a part of the Evergreen Sustainability Alliance team to effect change at the local level while learning how to raise a family in a sustainable way.
